The Pineville Ice House provides year round hockey, figure skating and recreational skating opportunities to the Charlotte community.

Standard NHL 85' x 200'.  New concrete floor, dasher boards and 72" tempered glass installed in 2022.

Hockey skates, figure skates, protective gear, sticks, supplies and accessories.  Skate sharpening and repair.  Adjacent to rink.

Tavern style bar and snack bar window.  Full commercial kitchen with hood system, fryers, ovens, griddle and walk in keg cooler.  Meals, appetizers, beer, wine, soda, sports drinks and hot beverages.  Bar TVs tuned to college and professional sports.  Adjacent to rink.

Four, 25' x 20' general use hockey locker rooms with adjoining bathrooms and showers.  Two custom locker rooms for resident junior teams.  Separate locker rooms for game officials, coaches and rink staff.  Female coaches and players locker room with private shower and bath. 

Two enclosed 25' x 20' shooting bays.  Two 25' x 20' studio spaces with rubber floors and mirrors for dance instruction, choreography and workouts.

Conference room for 12 equipped for video reviews, meetings and presentations:  camera, microphone, large TVs and white board.

Seating and viewing capacity 500.  Parking spaces 150.

Free public WiFi.  Fiber connectivity for hockey broadcasts and live streaming.  Games, tournaments and other events are streamed the on the Pineville Ice House LiveBarn platform.  A subscription is required to watch content.

The Pineville Ice House is located within one mile of multiple hotel and restaurant chains, a large shopping mall and Interstate 485.  The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 16 miles from our rink.

Our facility is equipped with a defibrillator and basic first aid supplies.  We offer no guarantees regarding the quality or timeliness of medical care at our rink.  In the event of a medical emergency, our staff has been directed to call 911 for an ambulance from the nearest possible provider.   The closest hospital is Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville, which is 1.5 miles from our rink.

We use an Olympia IceBear electric ice resurfacer which generates no Carbon Monoxide emissions.  Other rink maintenance equipment, including our forklift, scissor lift and ice edger, are also electric.  Our Munters dehumidifier includes a fresh air intake and runs continuously to circulate air in the rink.  Our fire alarm system includes monitors to detect noxious gases, and an alarm will sound if harmful levels are detected.
