Changes & AdditionsNo roster additions or changes are permitted after the fourth regular season game.
Failure to meet the Roster Submission Deadline will result in the loss of the Captain's discount. Changes to the Roster Count after the Submission Deadline may impact Player Fees.  All rosters are subject to approval by League Management which reserves the right to change rosters at any time due to skill, injury, relocation or other relevant considerations.  All players must be on the team roster, and no substitutions or walk-ons are permitted.
JerseysAll players must have a jersey that is the same base color as the rest of the team. The jersey must have a clearly visible number on the back, match the team roster and be the same from game to game. Changes to team jersey design, name or color scheme must be reviewed in advance with League Management.
Goalie SubsGoalie substitutions are permitted with League Management approval. Please check our Goalie Sub List if your team needs a goalie.
Playoff EligibilityTo play in the Playoffs, a player must play at least four regular season games.
Regular Season & PlayoffsTeams play weekly regular season games, one guaranteed playoff game and a championship game or second playoff consolation game.  The number of regular season games may vary due to the start and end dates of the that particular season, holidays, weather cancellations, rink maintenance or other scheduling irregularities.
Canceled Or Rescheduled Games
  • Cancellations Due To Severe Weather - In the event of weather emergencies as evident by media forecasts, school closings or decrees from government or law enforcement officials, the League may cancel a game or games without providing a makeup date.  In the event of such a cancellation, the game will be recorded as a tie with each team receiving one point.
  • Rescheduled Games - In the event of unexpected ice or other rink maintenance issues, the League will reschedule a game or games to a later makeup date which may vary from regular game days and times for that League level.  If the makeup game does not occur before the end of the regular season, then each team will receive one point for the regular season, and the game will be treated as a consolation game when played.

USA

Hockey

The Pineville Ice House Adult League is sanctioned by USA Hockey.  We require proof of current registration with USA Hockey from all players.  Annual registration must be renewed by August 31.  All fees go directly to USA Hockey and provide players with supplemental insurance for injuries sustained during League games.  Click here to Register For USA Hockey.

Penalties, Ejections, Suspensions, Missed

Games & Forfeits

  • Players serve penalties in accordance with the Adult League House Rules.  The Pineville Ice House is a USA Hockey registered facility, and all USA Hockey rules apply.  Zero Tolerance is in effect, and any player that verbally or physically abuses an official, player or fan, on or off the ice, may be permanently suspended from all Pineville hockey events.
  • In the event of game or season suspensions, no refunds or credits are provided to players.
  • In the event of a season suspension with four or more games remaining in the season:
    • Teams may replace the suspended player with a player that has been approved by League Management.
    • The new player must be registered with USA Hockey and the rink before beginning play.
    • Only one such substitution is allowed per team per season.
    • There is no charge by the rink for this substitution so long as the team has met its team fee obligation.  Teams may elect to collect from new players to reimburse suspended players.
  • The Management of the Pineville Ice House may - at our sole discretion - suspend a player for a game, games, a season, indefinitely or permanently if we feel that the player poses an extraordinary threat of injury to other players or officials or if the player’s conduct is excessively disruptive to League play.  In the event of a Management directed suspension or ban, the Pineville Ice House will refund player fees after game suspensions have been served.
  • There are no refunds or credits issued for games missed due to personal conflicts or injuries.  In the event that, while playing a League game, a player sustains a serious (i.e. hospitalization required), season ending injury that is not a result of reckless play or fighting, the player may contact League Management to inquire about a possible credit toward future seasons.
  • A team that forfeits more than one game in a season may affect its eligibility to participate in future seasons.
