  • Personal Items - The Pineville Ice House is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  Leave valuables in your vehicle, or ask our staff to hold an item for you while you skate.

The Snack BAR is open during evening, weekend and holiday Public Skating sessions.  Our Snack Bar features:

  • Hot appetizers and entrees.

  • Domestic bottles, local and seasonal draft beers

  • Red and white wines.

  • Snacks and candy.

  • Coca-Cola fountain drinks.

  • Bottled water and sports drinks.

  • Gourmet coffees, teas, and hot chocolate.

We have wide screen HDTVs to keep up on the big game.  Our enclosed Bar area looks out onto rink. 

Outside food and beverage are not permitted in the Pineville Ice House.  Tailgating is not permitted on the rink property.

Pro Shop

Our Pro Shop is open during weekday evenings and on weekends.  We stock hockey and figure skating equipment and apparel.  Our brands include:  Bauer, Easton, Reebok CCM, Sherwood, Jackson, Chloe Noel.  We also provide sharpening and repair for hockey and figure skates.

Public Skating | General INformation

Public Skating is open to all ages and skill levels.  Rental figure and hockey skates are available.  Check our Public Skating Schedule for our regular weekday,  weekend, and holiday sessions.  Public Skating is ideal for birthday partiesgroup events, family outings, and date nights.

Admission = $7.00.

  • The price is the same for children, teens, adults and seniors.

  • Parent, guardians and child care providers that are NOT skating do not have to pay the admission charge.

  • All others are required to pay admission and be in skates.  Loitering is not permitted.

Skate rental = $3.00.

  • Both hockey and figure skates are available.  
  • Our skates range from toddler sizes to adult size 15.
  • Skates are available in whole sizes only.
  • Skates typically run a half to a whole size bigger than shoe sizes (e.g. an adult that wears a size 10 shoe may wear a size 9 skate).
  • There are no male/female size or skate designations.  Men and women can skate in either figure or hockey skates.

What to Wear

  • The rink is cool during summer months and cold during winter months.
  • Dress in layers as you will warm up while skating.  Gloves and hats are recommended during cold months.
  • Helmets and gloves are recommended for beginner children.  Rental helmets are available for $3.00 per session.
  • ​Always wear socks.

  • Please view our Public Skating Schedule for upcoming times and dates.
  • The schedule typically reflects sessions in the upcoming one to two months.  Please check back if you do not see a session scheduled out past 30 days.

​Song Requests

  • Song requests can be made during any Public Skating session.  To make a song request, tell an employee at the skate rental counter the song title and artist.
  • We ask that you do not request songs with explicit or inappropriate content.  Requests that are listed as explicit will not be played.
  • During busy sessions, we may ask that you come back later to submit your request.
