2017 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Registration

Deadline

The registration deadline is May 15.  Teams that register by April 30 receive an early registration discount.  See the cost information below to see team and player fees.

Game

Times

Round robin games are played Friday evening and all day Saturday.  Playoff and championship games are played on Sunday. Refer to the schedule at the bottom of this page for game times and tournament results.

Tournament

Format

  • Four Game Guarantee - Each team plays three round robin games plus at least one playoff game.  Two teams from each Division play a fifth championship game.
  • Game Time - A two minute warmup time will be provided prior to the game.  Games consist of three, 14 minute running time periods with a final minute of stopped time if a one goal differential or a tie exists.
  • Standings - Two points for winning a game; one point for tying a round robin game.
  • Seeding Tie Breakers - Head to head results, fewest penalty minutes, fewest goals against.
  • Playoff Ties - Three player shoot-out followed by alternating, single player sudden death rounds.
  • Penalties - Two minute running time (5 min major).  Maximum 4 per player.
  • Penalty Time - Stopped time if clock is stopped in final minute of play. 
  • Other Rules - Pineville Adult League rules apply in absence of Tournament guidelines.
  • Timeouts - No timeouts during round robin.

Rosters

  • Each team must have a minimum of eight skaters plus a goalie.
  • No team may have more than 12 skaters.
  • ​Teams must have matching jerseys.
  • Players must play at the appropriate level.
  • The Hockey Director may request additional player background information for players that do not regularly play at the Pineville Ice House.
  • The Hockey Director reserves the right to reject players or teams or to move players or teams to different levels.

Goal

Rule

Three Goal Max Per Player - For White and Blue Divisions, a player is eligible to score a maximum of three goals per game. Additional goals will be treated as a save by the goalie, and a face off will occur. There is no limit on assists.  For the Red Division, there is no limit on goals or assists.
Prizes & SouvenirsThe tournament includes participant souvenirs, raffle prizes and team tournament awards.

Food & Beverage

The tournament includes a Saturday afternoon  or evening beer tent with complimentary food and beverages for each participant and a guest.  The beer tent hours will be added to this web page at a later date and/or emailed to the tournament participants.

TOURNAMENT FEES

Fee

$1,125 |   By April 30

Teams must pay a single fee that includes up to 12 skaters and a goalie.  After the team fee is paid by the captain, players must still register online for the Tournament.  Teams must have at least eight skaters and a goalie.  No team may have more than 12 skaters.
Individual Player
Teams must have a minimum of eight skaters and a goalie paid in full by the registration deadline. Teams which have not met the minimum player requirement by the registration deadline may be replaced or have players assigned to it.

Unassigned

Player

Players without a team may register at no cost for possible assignment to a team. Under "Notes & Comments", provide the Division for which you wish to play and information to support your Division selection. The Hockey Director will notify you if you have been assigned to a team. You will then have to pay the Individual Player Fee or pay the team captain if a Team Fee has already been paid.
Registration DeadlineThe REGISTRATION DEADLINE is May 15. You must pay in full at registration. Teams which have not met the minimum player requirement by the registration deadline may be replaced or have players assigned to it.

The Pineville Ice House Red White & Blue 4 on 4 Tournament takes place over Memorial Day Weekend.  The tournament has been an annual event since 2008.  There are three divisions offering a competitive environment for all skill levels.  The tournament includes a tailgate party with food, beer, outdoor games, and prizes.  Please Join Our Mailing List to get email updates for the upcoming tournament.​​
