Hockey Learn to

Skate 1 & 2

To get your hockey career off to a great start, beginner skaters should start with introductory skating classes provided by the Pineville Ice House Skating School.  Children age 3 - 5 should enroll in Snowplow Sam 1.  Children age 6 and up should enroll in Basic 1.

The Pineville Falcons field teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U levels.  Travel hockey is intended for intermediate to advanced youth players.  Players named to our Falcons teams have the opportunity to play high level teams throughout the Carolinas and along the east coast.  Tryouts are held annually in the spring.

Once your skater has developed the necessary skating technique, they are ready to learn game fundamentals such as stick handling, passing, and shooting.  Our Learn to Play program teaches game fundamentals and rules in a fun environment.
